The Tarantula is a versatile, lightweight, comfortable climbing shoe that is ideal for beginners and indoor climbers. The cross-over Velcro provides ample support whilst allowing you to get them on and off very quickly.
The Tarantula is that is ideal for beginners and indoor climbers, but still gives you good enough support when you want to start branching out into trad and sport climbing.
The upper of the Tarantula is made from a tough yet breathable suede leather which will mould to your feet the more you use them. As well as leather excelling in breathability, it also offers a high level of abrasion resistance for slightly less polished climbs and those who are rough on their kit. Sitting underneath the tough leather upper is La Sportiva's own FriXion Black rubber outsole, one of the stickiest and grippiest rubbers in their range. Securing the shoe is two cross-over velcro straps that can be adjusted up and down as well as across the shoe to customise the fit and support.
Whether you're a trad climbing, gym climbing or bouldering, the Tarantula is the perfect introductory climbing shoe for a wide range of uses and is ideal for those who want to dabble in a little of everything on an intermediate level.
Order before 12pm Monday to Friday for same day dispatch. Orders placed Saturday and Sunday will be dispatched on Monday.
Most orders are delivered by Royal Mail using a Tracked 24 service. Oversized packages such as skis, ski poles and large tents will be delivered by DHL or Parcelforce with a delivery timescale of 2-5 days.

Most orders are delivered during office hours. Higher value orders may require a signature. To help ensure you receive your delivery quickly and safely, at our website checkout, you can provide an alternative address or a safeplace for the delivery to be left if no one will be home to receive the parcel.
Returns
If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, you may return it for a refund or exchange within 28 days of the dispatch date provided that the goods are in a new and unused condition, with the original labels still intact.

Click & Collect
Free Click and Collect is available for all products on our website. At checkout, select Click and Collect as your delivery option. Then, choose the Craigdon Aberdeen store to collect your order from. You will receive an email to confirm your order. You will get a second message when your order is ready to collect. Items in stock at your chosen store should be available within 24 hours of ordering. If we need to take items from another store or warehouse, it will take between 1 and 3 working days before they are available to collect.
