Moggans Socks – Made in Scotland
Introducing Moggans. A Scottish brand based in Edinburgh.
Moggans is an Old Scots word for a Woollen Stocking

Moggans Stravaiger socks are made in Forres – just up the road from our Craigdon stores. It is a beautifully constructed classic Merino wool trekking sock with 100% merino wool next to skin.
Merino wools benefits in socks are well known;
* anti microbial,
* good moisture management,
* temperature regulation and
* reduced abrasion.
The heel and toe of the socks are reinforced for extra durability and the recycled nylon outer adds structure for a precise fit.
We love the socks and their name…
“STRAVAIG old scots. v. to roam, wander (about), travel through, etc.“
Stravaig is an old scots word often used to describe casual or aimless wandering, to travel in the hills for no other reason than the sheer joy of doing so.”
We also stock Moggans Midweight, Lightweight and Ultralightweight Merino socks which are designed and tested in Scotland and made in Europe.

These socks have a high recycled synthetic content and a complex knit; with targeted cushioning and mesh panels for a more precise technical sock . They have thick, dense loops of merino in the heel and forefoot for increased comfort and mesh on top for increased breathability. The higher synthetic content also makes them hard wearing. All with 100% merino next to skin for added comfort.
We are proud to be supplying Moggans. Quality products from an independent Scottish company.
