The Junior version of La Sportiva's classic Tarantula model, is shoe designed for kids and teenagers who are progressing in their climbing and are looking for a shoe that is more technical than a beginner shoe but is still comfortable to wear.  La Sportiva specially developed climbing shoes for children: the Kid's Tarantula JR, the junior version of the Tarantula for adults.  The main difference is that the kid’s model is made of a softer material to prevent their sensitive bones and cartilage from getting pushed down too much.
