The Kedar is built on a Mountain fit, giving a little more room than the Alpine fit found in jackets like the Mountain Equipment Lhotse and Makalu. It has more space for layers with a slightly relaxed cut through the body and sleeves that doesn’t compromise performance as the ground gets steeper. Mountain Equipment Mountain HC Hood is the same storm-proven design found widely in the shell range, offering excellent and easily adjusted protection with or without a helmet. 2 hand pockets and 2 chest pockets are large and accessible when wearing a pack or harness. There’s a further ski pass pocket on the sleeve and a laminated, laser-cut inner pocket. Pit zips give extra ventilation as the temperature rises but aren’t noticed when not required.
