DMM Micro Wallnut 0 Blue

Small but mighty. The large contact surface area of the Micro Wallnuts allows them to spread loads over a greater area of rock, decreasing the chance of the rock failing. They feature straight sides to give alternative placement options to our other alloy micro-protection. Used in conjunction with Peenuts they provide comprehensive protection for small cracks in friable rock. FEATURES: Micro protection for small cracks: As climbs become harder, the need to make the most of all available protection increases. Micro protection lets you protect cracks which normal sized pieces would not fit. Having these wires on your rack gives you more options. Large surface area effectively dissipates force: These nuts have large surface areas that spread forces in a fall across a greater area, increasing placement security in fragile rock. They increase security on routes where fragile rock may be encountered. Colour coded for easy size identification: The DMM protection range is colour coded on the anodised nut and shrink wrap for quick and easy size selection. Passive protection works in wet and icy conditions: Passive protection works by jamming in constrictions to prevent falls. It is suitable for use in all conditions. Unlike active protection such as cams, passive protection can be used in wet or icy cracks, where friction is reduced. DMM Spectre 2 Blue

The Spectre features I-Beam construction for reduced weight, a shrouded nose for added security, and generous rope radii for smooth rope running and softer catches in a fall. Versatility and a broad feature set make the Spectre an ideal starting point for a climbing rack. FEATURES: ALL-ROUND CARABINER FOR VERSATILITY.  All-round carabiners can be used across trad, sport, or winter climbing. They are full sized for ease of handling, while I-Beam construction and wire gates keep weight low. If you want one type of carabiner to cover all your climbing needs, you need an all-rounder. Wire gate for maximum weight saving. Wire gates are the lightest gate type available, and resist freezing shut in cold conditions. They are crucial in reducing the weight of your rack, and are ideal for trad, winter, and alpine climbing. Small gate notch reduces snagging. Carabiners with wire gates need a gate notch to achieve their full strength rating. The notches on these carabiners are as small as possible while remaining functional, reducing the chance of them snagging on other equipment. I-Beam construction for optimum strength to weight ratio. I-Beam construction techniques allow carabiners to be lighter without compromising strength. This is achieved through hot forging, a process which allows metal to be made into complex shapes that improve functionality. Available in multiple colours for efficient gear selection. Coloured carabiners allow colour coding of gear on your rack, helping you select the right piece of protection first time on a big trad lead. DMM Wisp Blue

Small but not too small. The Wisp is the lightest fully rated carabiner in the DMM range. At 22g, it is designed for multi-pitch trad and alpine climbing where minimising weight and bulk is a priority. While the Wisp prioritises a compact profile to save space on a harness, it maintains a 20mm gate opening. This ensures the carabiner remains easy to clip, avoiding the handling compromises often found in ultralight hardware. Small but not too small, the Wisp provides weight savings without sacrificing safety or durability. The Wisp is a versatile component for any rack. It is available in various colours specifically matched to the DMM cam range, allowing for instant gear identification when racked on a harness. Its compact size also makes it suitable for secondary tasks, such as clipping shoes, water bottles, or keys to a rucksack or bouldering mat. Features: DMM's lightest fully rated carabiner at 22g Compact design reduces bulk on the harness and weight in the pack 20mm gate opening ensures functional handling and easy clipping Available in seven colours to match DMM cam sizes for efficient identification

DMM Wallnut 5 - Blue

DMM Wallnuts are the backbone of a trad climbing rack. The tapered faces and sides provide secure placement options. Scooped faces aid stability and reduce weight. They are the basis on which to build a comprehensive climbing rack. Complemented by other, more specialised pieces of protection, they are guaranteed to be the most regularly used piece of protection on your harness. Wallnuts can be placed in two different orientations, allowing a single nut to cover a range of cracks. They are tapered across both their face and sides, helping them sit better in cracks that are rarely parallel sided. Wallnuts are mounted on wires that are stiff enough to allow overhead placements, while flexible enough to reduce the chance of lifting out. They are colour coded to correspond with the rest of our protection range, and to give quick and easy selection of the correct size from your harness.
