DMM 8mm Dynatec Open Sling 400cm

Despite their low weight, 8mm Dynatec Open slings are just as strong as thicker variants. Dynatec has several advantages over traditional nylon webbing. It is lighter and stronger, less susceptible to UV degradation, and is more resistant to abrasion. Its slim profile allows the use of narrow threads, and sits better on marginal spike placements.
Dyantec Open Slings can be used for protecting very narrow threads, and generally to reduce weight. Boasting a 22kN strength, a Dynatec open sling is perfect for everything from building anchors to extending quickdraws, or slinging around trees or boulders.

Length: 400cm
Width: 8mm
Strength: 22kN

DMM Nylon Sling 26mm x 120cm - Black

Nylon 26mm slings carry a 30kN strength rating and are an ideal durable sling option. Nylon slings are wider and heavier than Dynatec for the same strength rating. However, it is a good all-round material that withstands repeated flexing better than Dynatec, has greater shock absorbsion, is less expensive and has a higher melting point. This makes nylon slings appropriate for heavy use by outdoor centres and rescue teams.
