Leki Gate Guard Open

Designed to provide protection against low force contact caused by the FIS standardised race gates and slalom poles installed along the race course. After purchase, it is recommended not to use the protectors for longer than three years, as the materials can change their mechanical properties over time and impair the protective effect. Before and after each use, the protectors should not be exposed to sunlight or other sources of light and heat. Only water and non-aggressive soap may be used for external cleaning; solvents, petrol, lubricants or other chemical solvents must not come into contact with the protectors, as these can otherwise affect the structure and functionality of the protectors. Impact protection for alpine skiing complies with the provisions of Regulation EU 2016/425 on personal protective equipment for the intended area of use and has been tested in accordance with the requirements for Category II PPE.
