A302-P3A Shadow Screwgate Locking Carabiner 3 P Pack Lime/Grey/Orange
The Shadow strikes an ideal balance between low weight and useability. Weighing just 50 grams thanks to I-Beam construction, you can carry several Shadows before the weight starts to tell. Despite low weight, it is big enough to use in winter with gloves on. A locking carabiner for all situations. FEATURES: Personal Locking Carabiner for versatility and low weight. Personal lockers are used where weight and size are as important as strength, such as on sling runners and for most connection points on belay stances. In a standard 2 person climbing team, most of your locking carabiners will be personal lockers. Offset D carabiner for optimal loading and ergonomics. D-Shaped carabiners encourage loading in their strongest orientation by forcing loads toward the carabiner spine. An Offset D refines this basic design by extending the top bar, increasing internal volume. This improves handling and compatibility with thick ropes and slings. Keylock nose eliminates snagging. This carabiner's nose slots into a groove in the gate, allowing it to achieve full strength without a gate notch. This creates a clean internal profile that won't catch on gear, bolts or slings, giving easier clipping and removal from systems. I-Beam construction for optimum strength to weight ratio. I-Beam construction techniques allow carabiners to be lighter without compromising strength. This is achieved through hot forging, a process which allows metal to be made into complex shapes that improve functionality. LOCKING GATE: Screwgate: Manual locking gate requiring screwing/unscrewing of the barrel to lock/unlock. Wisp - Pink (Breast Cancer Awareness)
In Support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month this October, DMM have released this limited edition, bright pink wisp. 5% of DMM's sales will be donated to the charity Against Breast Cancer, with every purchase helping to raise money for an important cause. Small but not too small. The Wisp is the lightest fully rated carabiner in the DMM range. At 22g, it is designed for multi-pitch trad and alpine climbing where minimising weight and bulk is a priority. While the Wisp prioritises a compact profile to save space on a harness, it maintains a 20mm gate opening. This ensures the carabiner remains easy to clip, avoiding the handling compromises often found in ultralight hardware. Small but not too small, the Wisp provides weight savings without sacrificing safety or durability. The Wisp is a versatile component for any rack. It is available in various colours specifically matched to the DMM cam range, allowing for instant gear identification when racked on a harness. Its compact size also makes it suitable for secondary tasks, such as clipping shoes, water bottles, or keys to a rucksack or bouldering mat. Features: DMM's lightest fully rated carabiner at 22g Compact design reduces bulk on the harness and weight in the pack 20mm gate opening ensures functional handling and easy clipping Available in seven colours to match DMM cam sizes for efficient identification Tech Spec; Weight: 22gms Gate Opening: 20mm Major Axis: 20kN Minor Axis: 8kN Gate Open: 8kN
